Princess Charlene of Monaco looked amazing for her marriage to Prince Albert. She wore Giorgio Armani Privé wedding dress with a flowing line, in off-white silk duchesse, with a long train. Her beautiful hair accessory has sparked a few enquiries form brides to be, and I can see why! I love the elegant motif and the tendrils that sweep into the hair.

Below is a brand new bridal headdress commission. Soft ivory silk rosettes with crystals, faux pearls and beads create a fusion of textures. Mounted on a comb this piece has lots of option for placement in the hair style.

One of my lovely clients who got married last winter came to me with a wonderful challenge a few months ago. She had a brilliant eco friendly idea to dye her wedding dress so it could be worn again, but to do this the glass pearl and bead embellishments needed to be removed. As the beads were to be removed we may as well make them in to something – so we have. I love this idea, how much do we keep because it has personal significance but would never wear? This could be be the way forward.

This lovely hair clip was made using the beads form my clients wedding dress.

The hair clip has a vintage feel, with silk rosettes and faux pearls. It makes a brilliant keepsake with private meaning. Most importantly it can be used, worn and enjoyed.
